Our Story 

Sofibella is an active wear brand that embodies the personal style and sensibility of the active lifestyle. Sofibella is known for fit, fabric and stylish details. Our innovative line combines fashion and technology for the tennis player, runner, yoga enthusiast and overall athlete. Extensive product research took place prior to production to ensure that the highest quality of fabric was utilized. The key features of the performance fabric include: UV protection, stay-dry microfiber material, anti-bacterial/anti-microbial protection and stretch-free design. 

We launched in 2010 with a small offering of fitness styles. The brand’s classic but elegant aesthetic resonated with tastemakers from the very beginning. And now Sofibella is a global business with distribution across the United States in freestanding boutiques; an online presence with the major active wear ecommerce sites; as well as select boutiques throughout Europe and Japan. Sofibellawear.com, which launched in 2012, provides the option for consumers to purchase the brand online. Known for digital innovation, the company also has a robust social media presence.

Franco Forcella is the founder and President of Sofibella and from its inception, he has made a commitment to the best practices in global design and manufacturing. The family-owned and privately held company’s goal is to establish a real connection between who is designing the active wear line to the customer who is purchasing it.

Currently, we have several top WTA and ITF players endorsing the brand. The brand has been recognized by the fashion and tennis industry press with articles in Women’s Wear Daily, Tennis Channel, WTA Tennis online, Tennis Identity, among others.

We value social responsibility and for that reason, a percentage of every sale is donated to a non-profit organization that helps children in third world countries.
